Also note that if the connector itself is not burned it can be reused with new Molex crimp connectors installed on the wires then re-inserted into the connector. Generally it is best to not only replace the crimp connectors in the plug, but to also remove and replace the pins on the board...like a motor cycle...you don't put new chain on old sprockets...

A little tip on removing the existing connectors from the plastic plug. Us a small screw driver...small enough to fit in the slot where the tab is that holds the connector in the housing. Since you will be replacing the Molex connector, no need to be gentle with the old one. Insert the screw driver blade into the slot and use enough force to bend the tab out of the way. Then the old connector will slide right out. When rebuilding a plug, I do the wires one at a time...Pull the old connector out...snip it off...strip and crimp a new connector on it and then put it back in....just work your way down the plug....pay attention to empty spaces in the plug!
