I am in the process of doing a deep cleaning of mine, and part of it was taking out the 100,000 relay bank. Of course, while doing this, all 4 of the short-stack switches fell apart, and I have no way of knowing how exactly they are put together. I do know which blades go with each other, but am unsure if the blades of the parallel white line go above of below its counterpart, whether this pair of blades go above or below the other switch in the stack, and the exact layup up the fiber layers. All 4 of the switches fell part, so I have no reference as to what it is supposed to be. And the tube sections that shield the screws seem to be too long for what I think they should be (although that probably means an extra layer somewhere).

From the schematic, I know that this particular switch is default closed (whereas the other is default open), so my guess is that there is a single thin fiber layer between the blades (the default open switch has a thick fiber layer in between).

I tried looking at the Bally Parts Manual, but it seems that the EM Night Rider is left out of the earlier manual, but the next manual only covers SS. The manual for the title itself doesn't say anything. And the other titles that have this seem to only have a single switch here, like this for Old Chicago:

Yes, I should have taken a picture myself - this thread can be a reference for future folks who get into this position.

Much thanks in advance!

I can get you a picture when I get home from work in about 3 hours if no other owner weighs in before.

I’m assuming you are needing a picture of the 1st player 100,000 relay switches but here’s all 4 players just in case. Let me know if you need more pics from a different angle. It easy to access.

OK, I need another picture. I need a picture of the high score adjustment card in the cabinet, which of course is missing on mine.

I’ll be home in a few hours and hopefully mine has a card and I’ll get a picture.

Sorry, got home late and forgot yesterday.

Not perfect but you can make it out I think.

That just reminded me I need to print out a bunch of cards from Peter’s site.

OK, I need another picture, this time of the underside of the top hole. It's a variation of the Snap-Out Score Counter, but with 2 contact plates, and some differences in the parts. I think this is also used for Evel Knievel, and perhaps for some earlier titles, but I don't know which.

Any chance someone can post a pic of an EM Night Rider coin switch wiring layout? I got one where the previous owner cut and jumpered a bunch of wires and now I'm having trouble getting it back to factory. I'd like to set it up for two plays for one quarter and could use either a pic or description of what wires are on each microswitch and what plugs are in which sockets for coinage. Thanks!

Thanks for the pics! They are very helpful, but I can't quite see which wires on each switch go to which lug. Can you tell me for each coin switch, which wire(s) go to the NC, NO, and C? Thanks a bunch!!
