As an EHoH owner, I have been anxiously awaiting the topper. Now that it seems as if it’s $1,000, I’m out. However, it got me thinking about toppers in general. Anyone know what the first topper was? What about the first interactive topper? Thanks in advance.

I’m guessing the first was the Gottlieb sign in the mid-60’s.

First modern one I remember is Whirlwind.

If you mean interactive toppers this one was included. Tied to game code and awesome for no extra charge.

The original Thanos still kicks butt.

That Play Boy topper was from 30’s game, not the 78 Bally.

I didn’t think of those as toppers, but I guess they are.

For first interactive topper, I'm going to guess High Speed's red rotating beacon.

I would think about 12 minutes after the first pinball was designed there would be a cat sitiing up there.

    Strange Science

the first one I saw was a hand painted sign on a Gorgar stating that it was the first talking pinball machine

REALLY? I didn't know that, we'll shoot I guess I'm throwing the game to the curb then.

The 1978 game is awesome and one of my favorites.

The Gottlieb 1932 one is not bad for the era. I have one downstairs I need to set up.
