I really need a photo that shows the molex connectors (j205-j209) plugged into the cpu board, someone replaced a 9 pin connector with a non molex 8 pin and im not sure how to reconnect it
i messed up, i know.

Thanks, im not too sharp at looking at the diagram in the manual, but i think pin 1-6 are used on j206.
I wasn't born with the ability to read those manuals either. But that page tells u all the connectors and all the wire colors too...
Quoted from tomdotcom:Sorry if i sound a little on edge, our little 7 month old, is having one of those days...arghhh
No worries, you got to get your priorities right.
Manual says it very clear, even i can read it. it's just that there is a known error in the schematics in the manual on page 3-31 regarding j104 and j105 and i want to be absolutely sure.
Quoted from pinmike:If you still need pics Thunderpants let me know and i will take a pic of
the board in my TZ..I do believe both machines are hooked up the same.
Thanks a lot, but no need. i am looking for fish tales.

I'd love that, thanks. my board is being fixed now, sunday is soon enough for me
Quoted from pinmike:I just checked both TZ and FT are the same hookups.
Future reference. []
nice thanks.
do you plan on keeping your discovery a secret?
Quoted from Thunderpants:do you plan on keeping your discovery a secret?
HeHe!! No, I looked in my TZ manual and the FT manual online and
both machines use the same boards.
Bumping this tread since the manual obviously is full of errors. i still would love a picture of a working Fish Tales mpu board
Thanks
It will not matter if you put the green wired connector at J206 or J207.The same goes for J208 and J209 for the white wired connector.
shanetastic Thanks so much. you are the real deal!
bballfan, i forgot to take my own picture but i could have sworn that mine was connected to 206.
Im getting really confused with the manual these days since i took out my power board.
I did take pictures and marked all the connectors however.
tread finished. thanks again

I'm mighty curious as to why this might have been done - connector headers aren't free, so there must have been some reason for them to choose to have duplicates of these connectors.
good question.
I'm just borderline clinical paranoid about connecting something wrong.
Once i get my machine up and running, ill seal it in vacum bag
