I can go look at mine, once the baby goes to sleep...about 30mins

#6 12 years ago

Thanks, im not too sharp at looking at the diagram in the manual, but i think pin 1-6 are used on j206.

Page 3-29. It's plain as day...nothing is at j206

#8 12 years ago

If you still need pics Thunderpants let me know and i will take a pic of
the board in my TZ..I do believe both machines are hooked up the same.

No worries, you got to get your priorities right.

Manual says it very clear, even i can read it. it's just that there is a known error in the schematics in the manual on page 3-31 regarding j104 and j105 and i want to be absolutely sure.

It will not matter if you put the green wired connector at J206 or J207.The same goes for J208 and J209 for the white wired connector.

shanetastic Thanks so much. you are the real deal!
bballfan, i forgot to take my own picture but i could have sworn that mine was connected to 206.
Im getting really confused with the manual these days since i took out my power board.
I did take pictures and marked all the connectors however.
tread finished. thanks again

I'm mighty curious as to why this might have been done - connector headers aren't free, so there must have been some reason for them to choose to have duplicates of these connectors.

good question.
I'm just borderline clinical paranoid about connecting something wrong.
Once i get my machine up and running, ill seal it in vacum bag

Probably just extra spots in case there were more switches needed. The CPU works in many different games, so it's just generic, besides the game rom...
