The actual title I need this for is OXO, but I would imagine that all the '70s Williams EMs have the same stock.

Specifically it is the inside-door anti-slam switch; it has a blade with a large mass, another blade that is bent, and there is a big fish-paper thing that isolates it from the coin door. I think I know the layup, but I have some extra pieces that makes me unsure. I'm even unsure as to the screws that attach it.

    Thanks to all in advance!

Good on both of you. I also have an OXO (fun game), but seems like you dont need another pic. If you dont have the OG fish paper, I recommend using card stock printed with with little fishies.

Does anybody know what the coating is on those slam switch bars? And why it’s on there. Everyone I have seen is crusty and rusty

My Williams Wild Card is at the top of the Leaderboard so far.

According to the former owner’s grandson, his grandfather passed back in the mid 90’s and the machine had been sitting untouched with no playfield glass in his garage since before then. If true the rest of the machine was in amazing shape (except the backglass) when I snagged it last November.

That deserves to be in a museum - either one for pins or one for materials engineering.

The screws on mine are #4 Phillips, but it seems that stock is slotted, perhaps even #5.
