I had a right gate stuck closed error on my AFM. Went into the test menu and noticed that that left gate worked fine but nothing happened at all with the right gate. Checked the wires and springs it all looked good. Looked at the left gate and it looked the same. Was puzzled until I moved some of the wires around at the bottom of the game and found a broken wire. Based on the color and length i figured it must of broken off the left gate. Sure enough soldered it on the left gate and the right gate was good to go. I know it does not seem like much but pretty satisfying. I shopped out the AFM - man it it fast and looking good. I did not even need to ask pinside for help.

Great job! I know the feeling. Even the simplest job I complete sooo satisfying. When I do something big, I'm amazed that I actually fixed it. I'm also asking for less and less help from Pinside and a local Pinsider in particular but I sure have learned a lot from them.

Yes looks awesome. You may want to try two blue LEDs under the right ramp makes the colors pop and look 3D.

Thanks - I will give that a try. I just added the LEDs and did think it looked bright under that ramp.
