Quoted from ShinyBall:

Everyday is Saturday, I even forget what day it is..and I really don't care.

More like Sunday when they finally wrap this up. Been going on for a few months, and for now, I am always aware when Monday morning rolls along. I told them leave it like it is, my Jeep likes that kind of terrain.

I like your jeep, and had a few of them...last was a 2020 wrangler Rubicon, I liked my 2001 Cherokee better, I made the switch now to zr2..so far loving it.
The problem with the newer jeeps (as well with my zr2) is you watch for scratches and dings because you have more $$ invested...should have kept my Cherokee, for that reason. Like the room in the zr2.

Truth is nobody wants to have to go to the emergency room right now because they can't even get you in and you might end up with something way worse if you do go there.

So, from now on maybe I should just pass out in one of those plastic chairs in my garage just like all my friends do.

I have to admit...I love beer, and during this pandemic am enjoying more of it. I do take a week or 10 days off just to make sure I can!

So far so good...I stay away from my beloved tequila..that could have a different outcome..so resisting that for now.

Quoted from JethroP:

Problem with retirement is there are no more vacations or days off to plan for.

Huh? I’m retired. In the last week I’ve booked a weekend in the Texas hill country and a week in Key West in November. I think I had vacations in mind.

So wrong. EVERY day is a holiday.

It's been 65 years since dad bought a flipper less Gotlieb Spot Pool for about $5. And here I am $40,000 later. Still, there's nothing else I want to do more and I now have all day to do it. Retirement and pinball has been good to me.

I had to think pretty hard about what actually happened the other night, so I tried to retrace my steps. I think I know now.

It was sometime in the third quarter when my buddy left and we had been watching it out in the garage. So I went inside with the intention of making some food and watching the rest of it. I turned on the big TV which is to the right of Frontier and put my left hand on the lockdown bar and started to watch it. One of those long commercial breaks came on and instead of going into the kitchen as planned, I just fell asleep standing there. Must have fell leftward.

I do remember on the way down waking up momentarily saying to myself "oh, that is going to hurt". Next thing I knew the game was over and I was back on my feet. I've replayed the act a few times and the geometry of the fall makes sense now and I have a big old bruise on my chest and a small one on my cheek because my hand must have slid across the lockdown bar on the way down to prove it.

Here in Jersey, we call that passing out!

Getting blackout drunk in your 60s and hurting yourself is absolutely hilarious and perfectly healthy behavior that should be chuckled at

Can’t wait till I’m retired!

Can't wait until I'm in my 60s. Sounds like fun. The 40s and 50s sure have been a riot.

And after talking to my friend, we have determined it is most likely not the beer that has been randomly making us doze off.

...and when we retire we can wear cool shirts like this...

You need some new games in that room.

No doubt! I quit wearing Hawaiian shirts when I was in my early 20s.

1 week later

The air is so fresh and the weather so nice, that I went for two long walks today. And none of my body parts hurt.

Talk about turning back the clock! I guess it's time to destroy myself again.

The other dude and myself threw our t-shirts up over our faces as we passed as a show of mutual respect. One Adam 12 was nowhere around.

But, they are now.
