I just happened across the link below and it breaks my heart. My first thought was NOOOOOOO! Someone could have used this mademoiselle. If you have a theme you want to make why not do it from scratch instead of ruining a piece of history?

I understand your pain. That said they did spend thier hard earned money on it so they can do what they like with it. Seems like they could have found a worse example to destroy

I always thought the lit up coffee table was a cool idea.

Man I gotta tell you that IS kind of like their shows though.

Looks like a lot more fun than playing Mademoiselle would be.

I get your greater point, though also think that the retheme was done fairly well.

They did after all, save it from the dumpster.

Hello! I'm part of the team that made this pinball machine and I'm quite proud of it! I'm of the mindset that we took something that was certain to be garbage and made it a playable machine again. We also made something quite unique and fun!

We restored this machine because our non-profit focuses on independent original games. We've only made arcade cabinets so far, so a pinball machine was quite a design challenge. Rather than try to design the physics of the playfield from scratch, we decided to use the original bumper and switch locations of the Mademoiselle playfield. This allowed us to concentrate more on the visual design elements that highlight the experience.

You can read more about the build here:

And if you're in New York, it will be available to play in the near future as we work out partnerships with venues : )
