    Quoted from jfh:

What’s the restaurant situation near the Westin for those without a car? What’s in reasonable walking distance other then the Italian restaurant in the hotel?

If you want a bunch of 20-something year old titties thrown in your face while you eat, Twin Peaks is right in the same parking lot.

One Twin Peaks is in Oak Brook. Kinda far. Also, Tilted Kilts are in Schaumburg and Bolingbrook. Schaumburg is reasonably close to Expo for Tits & Tats. Right next to a Lifetime Fitness. When I traveled for my old job I would work out there then work my eyes out next door at the Kilt.

Rise & Dine Pancake House! Benihana on the way to it.

Also, there was an American Cuisine restaurant nearly finished construction as of last year, across the street and a couple blocks South. I presume it's open by now.

There are some fast food places just a half block west on Dundee Road.

I believe that closed in August

Make sure you look them in the eye, but let your peripheral vision work hard...

    Quoted from MrBally:

Hotel still has rooms. When Mike was involved the room block was sold out in August.
    BERK is killing the show.

They must have opened up another block of rooms cause they were sold out about a week or so ago when I checked. I live 15 minutes away so not staying. I did stay there for a few expos cause it's nice to have a headquarters in the place but just not worth it as I don't get all in or excited about it like I used to. I may go for a few hours on Friday night or Saturday just to see how it is and play a few games

PinAGOGo has always been my favorite

Pin a go go has been sort of transformed to - golden state pinball festival. There is still a pin a go go at a different time of the year I think.

The golden state pinball festival is very very good.

    But I have digressed...

    Examples:
    Jimmy John's, 250 East Dundee
    Panda Express, 300 East Dundee

Dundee Road is also the divider between North Milwaukee and South Milwaukee Avenues in Wheeling. Keep that in mind when checking the street addresses of the many restaurants in the area.

Go further down Dundee Road to find Portillo's Hot Dogs. 806 W. Dundee Road Arlington Heights IL 60004
Highly recommended. They have hotdogs and more.

I agree! And for those who may want to try a beer (or two) they won't find where they live, these are available at the Wheeling location.

The brewery is Lake Effect, but I am thinking we wouldn't get the 20% kickback from Superdawg for a keg.
