My wife got me a Mustang Lego car for Christmas. It was a lot of fun building it. Brought back a lot of memories. Any body else into these new Lego sets?

The Mustang was over 1400 pieces believe it on not.

Have you seen the imperial destroyer? It’s a monster!! And $700

Yes, I can't see myself buying a set for that much. My wife would freak.

I guess I'm not the only Lego freak. Awesome.

I see you have the James Bond Aston Martin. Too cool.

Quoted from jackd104:

Man posts to forum full of adult men who own pinball machines that interest in Legos might be silly.

I never thought of it that way. I guess boys will never forget their toys.

Quoted from Slash:

Wow that's huge!!!
Is that a legit Lego set or is it from another brick maker?

It’s not LEGO. It’s a Mould King set. You can’t believe the quality. Every bit as good as LEGO. Check out the cockpit. I did a few mods myself.

I know the best place to buy them if you want to know

Quoted from Bublehead:

After playing with it for some 45 years, you kind of get good at it. Here is a straddle carrier Technic model I built... this was my last big Technic model I built during the pandemic lockdown.
Functions:
Front steering
Rear independent steering (allows crabbing)
Forward/Reverse
Container cradle up and down with independent left and right (allows leveling of cradle)
Container capture/release
Control cab extend/retract
Control cab rotate left/right
Uses 9 motors, 5 IR transceivers, 2 battery boxes

Thats really cool.

Quoted from Wolfmarsh:

I'd love to know

It’s Wobb Bricks. I have bought probably 6 MouldKing kits and they all have been great. They have the best prices I have seen and they have free shipping and no sales tax.
They have a lot of brands I have not tried but the MouldKing are as good as LEGO and a third of the price. Also they ship really fast. Most have came in one week from China.

Quoted from topkat:

I love that one!
Is that the actual Lego set or is it another brand

No, it's a King set I bought on Joytoy which is a parent company of Wobb Bricks for $94. It's a copy of of the Lego 75060 which isn't made anymore and is going for up to $600 now. No way am I paying that.

#231 2 years ago
Quoted from topkat:

Has anyone tried the sixty six brand from the wobb site. ? Are they decent quality ?
They have a few cool transformers I thought looked cool.

I have not tried that company. I didn't see it on the web site.

Quoted from ChrisBardon:

Is that Razor crest a MOC, or the official set with an added stand? Looks nice.
I never ended up getting the UCS shuttle or SSD, but I've got most of the other big older Star Wars sets. Started back in 2000/2001 with the UCS X-Wing/Interceptor, and just kept going:

It' a Mould King 21023. About 5000 pieces. There are reviews on You Tube.
