I remember playing older pinballs and it would do this sometimes but only for about 10 seconds. This seems like it just would not stop..
Yes, my Stern Stingray will do this near the top of the playfield for up to 10-15 seconds sometimes but will always come out of it on its own eventually.
That was at MPE2014.
The coil did burn up on the rare AF-TOR pin.
I'm sure the owner was thrilled.....
had it happen before but not THAT long or fast! shouldnt the cap charging it drain off enough to change it?
different machine but when mine does something like that, power will slack off a couple seconds, ball stops that stuff as the cap recharges and I might get one weak flipper hit if the ball gets to em real quick right after.
