Stargate
Gottlieb, 1995Hi all,
Looking for some help here. We bought a Gottlieb Stargate pinball machine last year. It worked well for a while but now it is completely unplayable. We get a pulsing noise from it and the display looks like it is Chinese and nothing else works on it. I have had most of the boards and the power supply redone and still nothing. Any help would be greatly appreciated as we love this game. We have also had a couple of different companies come and look at it but no luck.

I used a couple of different companies here in Florida. Just tested the battery and I am getting 3Volts so not a battery issue.

I feel bad for you because any "company" that has the ability to repair your game will be able to tell you exactly what is wrong with it in less than 10 mins and have it up and working shortly thereafter. If they say anything else, tell them to take a hike. When you say that it worked well for "a while" how long are we talking here? Routine maintenance is expected on any machine. I had a bad socket on my Stargate's display eprom cause something like you what you are seeing on the display. But that is just a guess in the dark without being in front of the machine.
