I have 2 Rolling Stones playfields. 1 is NOS wood like all others, but my 2nd one is used and made of plastic. Looks to be made by Bally. My question is did Bally make a plastic one?
Yes sir. It was an experimental thing they did with other playfields as well such as Mata Hari and Kiss and perhaps even Globetrotters but I can't remember.

Have you ever played one, in a game? Curious as to how well they worked? Is it lighter? Post a photo for us. I've never seen one!
My friend has a Night Rider with a composite playfield and I’ve also seen a composite EBD.
I think the weight of the mechs affects it a little bit. It feels like it’s not perfectly flat, but other than that they seem to hold up well.
Quoted from dothedoo:but other than that they seem to hold up well.
Screw holes strip out easily.
