How about pictures of the actual Bigfoot pinball machine that you list in your collection?? Still wanting to find out what the real story is on this.

Quoted from Dantesmark:Alright i cant resist... here are just a few of my other toys.
Shit, that ain't nothing. I bought both of these on eBay the other day with the coupon!
7b2d1149499b9113c9443522485c3e5e (resized).jpgNeither of the two (2) Bigfoot games exist now. One was dismantled, and the other was unconfirmed destroyed. Only backglasses exist. Those that have been collecting for over 30-40 years would have uncovered it by now, since we know who most likely would have one. Most of these collectors are not on PinSide.
The remaining game has never resurfaced.
If a person wants to refer they own the game (as stated), a few people could validate the authenticity.
Many people on this website up until a year ago, never even heard of the title.

It's someone in a pinball suit anyway.

I've seen pics of those pins but they are all blurry
My advice is, don't buy anything that is going to get a remake, or your 100,000 might only be worth 94,000 in 10 years.
Any of the solid state games I still own in my collection are solid winners, as most have been with me for over 20+ years for a reason.
Big Bang Bar is an above average game with an extraordinary price tag, but the reproductions by Gene Cunningham (IPB) where of better quality than the original prototypes (but the Capcom original adds an additional $8-10K in cost). Keep in mind CGC still quotes that "BBB will be remade". Personally, I find the quality of all Capcom games only slightly less than most Bally/WMS games of the same era, but have superior dot matrix animations and sound.
I believe you could own many more games with $100K than 12, as high end examples are a demeaned on value comparative to the same game equivalent borderline super+/collector quality for less than 3/4 of asking prices. Limiting yourself in this area is going to mean wasted dollars, unless you are hiring someone to find the games for you.
Still waiting for the picture of your Bigfoot, try fitting that in between pretending you own the other things you posted.
Quoted from Dantesmark:Is big bang good?
It is a lot of fun but you are paying for the exclusivity of the pin more than anything else. Thank being said, it is absolutely gorgeous and who knows if/when it will be remade. The ones out there now will still go for a premium regardless.
I think ill keep u wondering on the Bigfoot. But if i were to put it out there, what do u think i could get?
Lets say its a 7/10 playfield... light planking, gash on right of the back box, few cupped inserts, and on the backglass theres a little flaking on the grass under player 4?
I think I could care less. Topic drained, please continue your either troll topic or shameless attention thread.
Do people in Kentucky even have 100k?

You won't keep anyone wondering, because you don't have one.
If you do have one, then shit, I have all 9 Krulls.

If BBBr is coming, the bbb price tag would go down to bbbr one.
Now bbb gets one of the best atmosphere in a game, no game (or very very few) since b/w era can compete.
Bbb also gets the best ramp ever made, and the game is interested to play, quite challenging. Just some mods feel weak.
Now regarding the question of the thread, it is hard to answer as no one can know what are his favorite themes, his tastes, what he has already played, etc
So we can only answer you by referring our own tastes. All games deserves to be played, and would last the time they last in a line-up.
Now regarding my slight experience and games I have ever owned/played, I would go with:
MM
BBB
BSD
TWD Premium/LE
MET (whatever model)
LOTR
WOOLY (I know I know...but really hope it will come into production soon)
SW premium/LE
SMVE
X-MEN LE
i would also buy HOUDINI and ACNC for supporting these companies and like to say the same for ALIEN and TBL ( both have great theme and design)
This is just my 2 cents.
Quoted from Dantesmark:These are not an investment.
My portfolio is strong to quite strong.
Lol
Even so, I stand by my post. You're going to be making a number of transactions. Get the thing you want most right now and figure out if you like it as much as you think. Repeat as needed.
Why are you even asking this?
Did your portfolio get that "strong to quite strong" by going on investment sites and asking "I've got a hundred million to invest. What do you guys think I should buy into"?
I kind of think this is a troll post.
Quoted from rotordave:Hookers and blow.

Yeah I've wasted too much time on this guy and I think everyone else here has as well.

Quoted from Zennmaster:I kind of think this is a troll post.
Agreed. Waste of time.
I’ll play along with the obv trolling:
Add:
LM (Lochness Monster)
TTF (The Tooth Fairy)
JOSN (Jolly Ol Saint Nick)
TEB (The Easter Bunny)
LATSGPOG (Leprechauns and the Shiny Glimmering Pot Of Gold
Why do we think this is a troll? He is only asking for opinions and not trying to persuade anyone to a certain viewpoint etc.
Obvi i dont have a Bigfoot pin... i mean c’mon guys. Ruffled feathers so easily.
Im just asking for opinions on pins you would purchase for this collection im about to build.
Im not asking if its the right thing to waste my money on, or if its a good investment. Nor is it any of your business if my wife approves or if i have enough space to house these games... even though i answered those questions.
This thread has turned ugly. Lets get back to focusing on the original topic.

I would get all org pins and no remakes to start off. JMO
Addams Gold
Attack From Mars
Dialed In
Funhouse
Houdini
Medieval Madness
Metallica
Monster Bash
POTC - JJP
Ruby Red Wizard of Oz
Scared Stiff
Twilight Zone
Good luck.
I agree that this is an obvious troll posted thread. I mean all of a sudden you are gonna spend 100k on pins? Are you trying to impress the pinside crowd with your big bucks? If you had that kinda money you would already have a few "grails" in your collection. It's already established that OP is embellishing, so who are you trying to impress exactly? Have fun with this, I am checking out.

Bye bye
Quoted from Valorguy:You should play all of them before you commit. That way you don't get bored.
Thats awesome advice! I agree that you should play a pin before you buy.
Luckily i have been able to do that for all of the pins on my original list, but there are definetely some pins mentioned in this thread that i havent had any time on, and should consider... thats why i created this post.
Thx!
I didn’t read all the bull shit but I would suggest you get one HEP restored machine.
I have probably more money tied up in games but I have never been able to pull the trigger on a HEP. It is certainly on my bucket list. Maybe an IJ??
Out of sterns which I mostly have Tron LE and TWDLE are probably my two favorites and I believe must haves.
Might get a Hep or two, but im in talks with Chris to do my wh20. Its nice but deserves the Hep treatment for sure.
Love that game, but unfortunately my wife holds the high score. Lol
With 100k to play with, I’d put an addition onto my house and make room for more games. No way would I dump 100k into 12 games. I’d want at least 30 for that kind of coin.
Good luck dantesmark on all of your purchases whatever you decide. I am ashamed of all the socialist/communist on here crying that they dont have 100k to buy games with. And trying to demean a guy who has the money. Boo hoo. I also dont have 100k for games but I always love seeing other without money bitch about those who do. But dont worry Bernie Sanders will be giving out free stuff probably including pinballs soon.
Haters gonna hate. If you can’t come to Pinside and talk about spending crazy money on Pinball where should you go?
Regarding the question at hand, maybe I missed it but are you creating the collection for just you and the wife or do you routinely have parties? What’s the demographic of those? Most will tell you that if you have other options in the game room they will get more play than the pins, if you don’t have people over much...F ‘em, get what you like. If you are picking pins for kids/noobs to enjoy get ones with evergreen themes and a bash toy in the middle with easy multi balls to get going such as TSPP.
Seems to me you like flow and most of us do. Search Pinside for best flow pins. You should play everything Steve Ritchie and pick the themes you like. No Fear, Spider-Man, Star Trek, GOT etc.
Looks like you are determined to build an amazing collection so excited to see what you come up with, keep us in the loop!

Why buddy?
For exemple i’m only interested in modern games. So price range is 6k up to 10k or more, from great condition to Nib.
So 100k will be quickly reached.

I enjoy entertaining, but only a couple of my friends are pinheads... the rest of the time newbies will probably just jump on whatever theme catches their eye.
I do have 3 daughters that have taken a fancy to my pins/arcades, and im am definetely interested in nurturing a love for the hobby. After all, if our younger generation doesnt like or unaware of pinball the hobby will die.
The themes in my original post have a lot of humor that i believe appeals to them. I have also considered a P3, bc i know it has some games for the younger fans, but ive never flipped it.

Yes, this.
But, really, this is a weird thread with a weird premise.

In the near future we are planning to build a pretty decent sized detached garage... possible that more games could be added on the 2nd floor if we decide to go that route. Wouldnt be opposed to hosting a monthly or even weekly tourney here when all said and done... wife approval needed of course.
Food for thought.
Thx

That would be awesome and you’d have lots of interest. Just a heads up, if you wanted it to be with the ifpa, you are limited to 4 events a year at a private residence, unless you’re willing to have the tournaments’ location to be posted publicly, then you can have as many as you want.

Spend the $100k on pinball lessons.
There’s this guy, Carl.
