I appreciate the story, I am sorry about the scam.
I got a little excited then realized. Sadly. Scammers are everywhere. Bastards.
Anyways I had a different story. One time a few years ago I needed flippers for a time warp I was going to restore.
A guy on pinside saw my post and sent me the replacement flippers he had. Free. New ones and they are special like bananas. After I asked I had the flippers in like two days.
Beware of scammers. Nice people, are in abundance here too...
