    We have to deal with scammers from time to time @ work

    I’ve been sent to vacant houses, etc.

    Someone may very well be impersonating her.

    In my experience the scammer uses a “stolen identity”. Much like criminals using stolen cars to commit other crimes in an effort to remain anonymous.

    What if the scammer stole OP’s & JethroP’s Pinside identities to open a go fund me?

    I don’t know what’s real life anymore.
