    Quoted from TheLaw:

Sitting around in socks all day, gross.

At least I didn't say barefoot. Although that may be one way to guarantee some wins.

No shoes, no shirt, no dice.

I know Pinburgh is often a contest to see who can be the most disgusting but I think the shoes have to stay on.

Hilton usually wears sandals with socks, so I think you can get away with that if you need to.

Probably better off getting used to sneakers! You got plenty of time.

I've played an entire Pinburgh flip flops. Personally, I don't care about what people are wearing on their feet, but I would think socks and no shoes is better for the foot averse, than only a 1/2" rubber strap between my bare feet and their prying eyes.

Don't arrive in Pittsburgh the night before. Try to give yourself an extra day to settle in and adjust. That is, if you are coming from somewhere not close to Pittsburgh.

On that note, what days can I expect there to be tournaments happening in the days before it all kicks off?

I usually only hang out in restrooms at gay bars. (And I see there are some near the convention center.)

Don't worry, there will be plenty of guys for you at a pin tournament!!

I think Helicon normally does something the day before, but I'm not sure about this year.

I drove overnight from Chicago to Pittsburgh and got there at 7am morning of Pinburgh. I started out play OK actually by tiredness and fatigue caught up with me, and I flamed out. Had no choice, finished taking the bar exam the day before and couldnt afford flights and stuff. An adventure! But ill be flying in at least a day early this time for sure haha

I had a blast at the Helicon tournament last year. Definitely recommend it. The operator brings in 30 or 40 additional games on top of Helicon's typical 30-40 game collection. It's crazy.
