Quoted from stf_dnx:That's pretty cool, i didn't know Marvel did comics with these classic Japanese robots. For me "shogun" was the generic term for those jumbo robot toys.
First one in your pics is Mazinger, 2nd one is a getter dragon, i forgot the names of the 2 other ones...
Just imagine the possibilities for the mechs, a topper etc.
The comic was just a tie-in for the Mattel licensed toys that came out around '78. They were pretty tall, maybe 18"+. There was some controversy around the danger of their spring loaded weapons and fists. I don't think they were on the market for very long. I had the Raideen.
Two more themes that would be awesome, that themselves could not be more different:
Curb Your Enthusiasm
Over the Garden Wall

New James Bond
Sequels to classic games
Medieval Madness: Return of the Mad King
Attack From Mars 3
WW2 original theme

Yeah, I made it 6 years ago.
Please forgive my mustache.

Stern Star Wars premium damn sure is.
Quoted from GTO:How about a Hellraiser pinball machine? Have the puzzle box as a bash toy and every time you lock a ball it does some cool changes like in the movie. Include the Cenobites, chain-looking-ramps, hooks, etc.
Sounds like a good retheme for TOM.
The Matrix is winning with the most upvotes, if that means anything. Rush and Jaws are duking it out for the 2nd spot. Stern if you're watching....the people have spoken and voted in their dozens....DOZENS!! So stop fannying about and make The Matrix already.
Love that home-made Goonies game, very cool.
Quoted from mikeatsparkys:Please forgive my mustache.
Why?? It is very Dr. Robotnik.
Blade Runner
Total Recall
Beetlejuice
The Office
Music Pins
Black Sabbath
rage against the machine
beastie boys
Wu-Tang Clan
nirvana
Foo Fighters
Quoted from acedanger:Foo Fighters
Could be interesting if they incorporate the original definition of foo fighter (google it) and not just a bunch of middle-aged dudes playing earnest AOR. Dave Grohl is inescapable these days, but that band has zero image, flair, mascot, or drama.
Rocky Horror
Jumanji
Die Hard
(New) James Bond [movie coming]
An RPG adventure pin in which you can save progress. (Zelda or Final Fantasy maybe) with lots of puzzles and quests.
Quoted from pins4u:This is Spinal Tap
Rocky Horror Picture Show
anything Monty Python
You are in luck. Spinal Tap was just announced .
3 Stooges - in Black, white, and silver paint scheme with hints of gold
DEVO - Whip that high score, we're through being cool............
Someone mentioned Blade Runner, that'd be awesome, one of my favorite movies!!!

Three Stooges would be a brilliant theme for pinball. So many possibilities. I'm really surprised it hasn't been done. Maybe a bit old time even for the generally older pinball demographic, but I definitely think they have appeal and recognition across several generations.
Surprised PPS and CGC have not figured out a way to start churning out a ton of Adams Family Remake machines(they could sell thousands and thousands of them). Shit them out like soft serve and quit farting around with other titles like TOM? Make it so already-Oh Vey!
I want a Mission Impossible machine and am surprised it has not been made yet
Repo Man would be another one - excellent possibilities!
I think the 3 Stooges is a timeless appeal, newer generations ultimately come to know the remarkable comedy of that wonderful trio!!
Sonic the Hedgehog
I'm still shocked that not a single pinball manufacturer (including Sega themselves) has made one yet.
