.........LAST CALL.........
On orders, that I can powder coat and deliver to Texas Pinball Festival 2023 to get free delivery and save on the shipping cost....
I've been in the hobby since the mid 90's, but this is the first time I've had one of my games powdercoated. Steve was great to work with, patiently answered all my newbie questions, showed progress throughout the process, and sent back an incredible product in a timely manner. I will absolutely use Steve again for powdercoating. Pictures do not do his work justice.
Game: CCr SE
Powder: Prismatic Dark Grey Sparkle
Parts: Legs, lockdown bar, siderails, shooter housing, shooter knob, hinges, and speaker surrounds
Here are a few before and after pictures. I still need to paint or find black siderail screws.

The MB is an LE and came powdercoated from the factory. CCrSE was feeling left out, so got the treatment to level up
If you look in the MB owners thread they discuss color ideas, but I bet Steve here also has done an SE and has recommendations.

Love the gunmetal dude. Reminds me too much of my Warhammer 40K painting days though. That color goes on just about everything.

Thanks! I remember the day I bought flesh colored paint for those figurines. Game changer, lol.

Thanks for the tip about ordering color swatches. Saved my bacon and no surprises!
Steve does it again…I have this same color on my Fish Tales and I love it. So versatile. It’s pretty subtle until the light hits it. Works very well on pins with many colors like FT and GZ. Prismatic Universe + clearcoat. The smooth feel is awesome too.

Awesome red! reminds me of the candy apple red corvette from the movie Corvette Summer. Looks as you’ve been busy

Is that Illusion Cherry?
I'm thinking of that for Godzilla Premium, what do you think?

So does it look black most of the time?
Quoted from joelbob:So does it look black most of the time?
It looks sorta greenish gray until light hits it. Like this…

I have some colors in mind... you could match the purples or blues or greens... there's too much red so that would be my last choice.
Quoted from HemiOrange09:I just finished up more sets... Here a different color per request of my customer for Godzilla
[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]
That "King Ghidorah" gold set for GZ is interesting. I never considered that color, but it would fit with the Ghidorah themed Premium backglass/cabinet.
Whomever ordered that, post some pics after install
I finished this color for a customer's Ghostbusters Premium... I've been eyeing this color for a while and would work great on White Water as well.. It's cool looking

I would like to see that as well. I'm debating over that gold, the burnt orange from the last page, or the green that glows in the dark that Steve has on his own GZ. I'm using the Myth flaming lights kit with possible undercab flame lighting, so would it look better with burnt orange or is that too much so the green is better? hmmm
Decisions, man... I'm the worst. I would like a black sparkle or a red for Space Station, I'm debating over dark Disco Red, purple, or just red for DP Prem, and also GZ. I can't make up my mind
Here are a few pictures of a Ghostbusters set that my customer order installed on his machine

Have you done any Getaway HS2 machines? Seems like they're always powder coated a deep red but I'm wondering if there's something else out there that looks good. I'm also going try and restore my Mousin Around this year... Powered armor might be in the cards for that but not sure what color would look good... Hmmm...
It looks sweet for a 007 Premium Machine, better than the LE if you ask me.
Thanks for posting pictures of your Pinball Refinery 007 #1.

I just finished my first color for Foo Fighters Premium. He decided to do the flame red/orange color that I did for Godzilla Premium

These look really good. My favorites are the bond from last week and the JP at the beginning of the post. Nice work!
Just one silly question those of you that have done this what do you do about your game while it’s getting this treatment. I guess break it down and not play it?

Or, throw some old legs on it, if you have any old sets. Hinges you can remove and keep the head up, latched or use the safety bolts in the head. I have old lock bars too, so I use an old one. If you are having a recent pin done and your lcd/speaker box is gone, that’s another story! Same goes for your coin door, I suppose.

Really like this look!
Can the side rail screws and leg bolts not be PC'ed or would that mess them up?
Greg
I have several sets of powder coating to post... Here is a set for a Led Zeppelin LE. My customers was not a fan of the LE blue and wanted to see what I suggested for him.
I came up with this cool white powder. The camera doesn't show what this really looks like but It's perfect for LZ LE
