How many days of wild aspiration have I wandered? How many nights of black entropy have I slain to witness this triumph? Well, quite a few... TZ is finally in the house and that is all that matters now. Tonight, I can sleep comfortably knowing I'm now in the hobby full time again. Already looking for that next game too...

Verrrrrry nice! Congratulations!!!!!!

The left side is slightly faded and the front is drilled for a security lock (actually done cleanly with no splintering) Game is filthy and needs some slight adjustments, but it plays wonderfully. Can't beat a good deal that also happens to be local.

Is this your first pin?

It's my fifth game and second TZ. It's the first game I've owned in a little over two years, so that should amount to something.

#6 10 years ago

Congrats on being back in the play. Nice looking game too.

#7 10 years ago

Lived in Prospect Park years ago. Congrats on your TZ.

#8 10 years ago

congrats and welcome back!

#9 10 years ago

I'm happy to be back and get my ass kicked again whenever I hit the start button. Will do a light cleaning tomorrow and leave it be until parts arrive. The clock surprisingly worked the first time I powered it on, but the game is not detecting the powerball in the trough. I'll play with that tomorrow and also replace the power cord I smashed wheeling it in. No burnt connectors and no hack jobs, so I'm happy.

Congrats! I miss mine, hope to score one again someday.

#11 10 years ago

Still haven't gotten around to cleaning it, but all the problems are fixed. I'll probably give it a bath sometime tomorrow if Marco Specialties is true to their overnight shipping option.

#12 10 years ago

Wish I could be "quite content", with one game.

#13 10 years ago

If I had to shrink my lineup to a single pin, TZ would be a likely choice. I don't own one, but plays it quite often. It slowly grows on me.

Congrats!

Best B/W game ever. Never gets old,& so many toys. There's a reason they spent so much on this game. Masterpiece!

#15 10 years ago

Awesome news CS! Congrats and welcome back!

I'm debating if I should pick up a RS or ToM... or dive into another full restore project. Anyways, I'm waiting on Kaneda to send the last payment for the Fix-it Felix he picked up from me before I do anything.

Wait, you take payments? What else are you selling?

He's not getting the Disney documents until it's paid for, so I'm not worried. He'll never be able to list it as a "Disney-made" machine if he ever goes to sell it without them.

#19 10 years ago

Did a basic job cleaning it. I'll strip the whole thing down for a restore project later in the year. Didn't turn out too bad I must say. The only thing about this machine I don't like is how the playfield is split in areas where many of the screws are drilled into it.

Glad you found your Twilight Zone. Welcome back!

Looks like he's not going to finish payment.

A great pin to return to the hobby with! How are you liking the superbands on it?

I'm enjoying the superbands. Also, I wanted to ask that everyone not blow what I said out of proportion. We're still working things out. But yeah, it's not going to be a clean transaction like what was planned and agreed on to begin with.

#29 10 years ago

I was wondering about this debt when I saw he had bought a pin.

#30 10 years ago

love my TZ...one of the best looking and playing pins around...congrats on getting your second one...why did you sell the first one and did you have immediate seller's remorse?? Has happened to me on a few pins, but TZ is going nowhere...

#31 10 years ago

Games up for sale. Price is $5,500 hoping to break even. I'm in a financial bind at the moment and need this gone soon. And yes, I'm no longer content.

It sucks more than I thought something like this would. Put my love into getting it back in shape and then some personal issues come up. Oh well, it's happened before and I usually find a way to recover.

Need close up pics of the playfield splitting by the many screws, general wear areas, shooter lane, outside cab, and inside the cab? Has outside cab been touched up any?

5500, "breaking even" you say, and you said earlier you "got a good deal", for a "game was filthy" and you had to do "slight adjustments"? Let's see what the close up pics say.........

The smell test here, well......need detailed pics.
