I am working on one of these now. The problem was in the power board to the large coil. This is behind the backglass, small board lower right. Has 2 fuses. Check these fuses. I bet one is blown.

Try to replace the the fuse and see if it works . If it blows right away, it’s probably the TO-3 transistor on that board. Kinda an oddball transistor but I found a guy selling identical part number on eBay for $10. I put a meter on mine abd it was shorted. Waiting for it to arrive now. Most likely this will fix it.
