Hyperball has 9 similar opto switches at top of playfield. These were manufactured by Optek. They were labeled as the OPB 3830. More than one has failed on my game. Trying to find a modern equivalent has been difficult and unsuccessful. Has anyone come up with a successful replacement opto switch?

Are you looking for replacement board or replacement part. I read your post originally but was unsure as never seen nor worked on one. I know i had purchased replacement opto "U looking" part to repair my millionaire drop target board. Competitive products i think is whom i purchased that from.. ?? You may want to look on Mr Pinball Classifieds under collector registry as to who owns one. A lot of people who may not be on here usually have phone number listed and don't mind a call to talk about their machine. If you have several out sounds like it may be a common problem. Good luck.
