Having powder coated quite a few pinballs , I thought I would have a go at hydro dipping having seen loads of videos on FB and YouTube ( not myslef find someone to do it ) Twilight zone stepped forward as the Guinea pig for this experiment.
I located a shop really close by and selected a space type star field pattern for the metal work.
It's quite a long process, first it required the metal to be blasted then primed. The pattern which is a kinda a glue is added and then the metal work is dipped. After that it's washed and baked and then a few layers of clear coat applied.

Something to do with the glue that activates and sticks to whatever item you dip.

That looks cool as hell. I’ve heard about people doing this on firearms recently. Certainly opens doors for different styles.
