yeah they tend to run high
whenever Kiss does something a local tv news show will find a local kiss fan and show his collection, and along with action figures- lunch boxes -posters a true fan will have the pin.
That KISS pin will always separate the men from the little boys or who is MORE the fan. 
there is one posted on the albuqurque CL on a regular basis. it started at 4K i think over a year ago, last time i saw it posted, it was at 1800. i figure when it drops down to 1500, i might try and look at it...
I saw one on ebay recently, had some signatures on the backglass, think the listed price
was $14-15,000. I doubt that each individual signature is worth thousands, plus the price of the pin.
While it would be great to have a KISS pin with all 4 band signatures on the backglass there's no way I'd pay 15K for it. Max I'd pay would be 4K, IF I had it to spare. Then the gunshot you'd hear would be my wife killing me dead on the spot for paying that much for it.
