Lookin' good! Might be a twin of mine with the new cab decals, rottendog and same leg protectors. Hope you got a better dummy plastic than me though. I put a new decal on my wheel recently due to a couple small scratches, man was it a pain getting the old one off.

New playfield.... found a payfield that was pulled from a machine that has been in storage for 15 plus years. Great condition , no wear and best of all no mylar. I think a lot of hurricanes were produced with full mylar on the playfields

Nice, what was wrong with your old one? The Diamond Plates seem pretty tough. Mine didn't have any Mylar except for 2 ugly half moon ones by the slingshots. I decided to freeze them off and luckily all went well. Looks much better now.

Looks beautiful. Did you fabricate the metal clip/tab for the big ramp above the right inlane? My tab is slightly cracked but still holding fine...that looks like a pretty solid repair.

Hi man, I wonder if you can help me. I am doing a Hurricane restore, found a battered one in a barn.

The sling shots..Its really busting my head..

In your picture above (the blue side (right) my plastic has a hole om the right for sa post to go through, but in your image above (and I think in my reference pics, it has a blue post with screw head. Seems weird, as I would think the plastic wants to slot onto something.

Is here any chance you could send me a close up of your sling shots, left and right, so i can get mine sorted please? The manual shows a star post front left most, but yours has a red post (mine did too!) but that seems to push the left plastic up in the air..

Really appreciate the help !

Although Hurricane is not a favorite of mine. I had one for about a week before I got bored with it and traded it.

But great job on yours! Looks fantastic. The LEDs in the playfield really do give is a carnival look and feel. Almost makes me want one again LOL.

Brilliant, thank you for posting that jaytrem , lovely looking plastics! You have the holes in the plastic but no post under there? This was exactly what I was looking for. I have a post in those two spots, but they were huge and pushing the plastic up and out of shape. So I have used some smaller posts to support the plastic and screwed. There were holes in the playfield below.

Could I trouble you for another close up photo please? The two ball gates for the Juggler. Mine are a little mangled, wood screws used to hold in place, I have new wires, and will replace for correct post, but wondered what others look like.

Thx in advance for your help! Threads hereif you want to see what I am up to! https://www.pinballinfo.com/community/threads/williams-hurricane.47699/

Plastics can be purchased at...

https://www.pinball.center/en/

The slingshot and red on the left are a good color match. The orange dummy plastic is a bit off, but matches my targtet perfectly. Also, if you have the newer version of the Comet ramp the upper plastic is appatently not needed.

Superb, thanks for taking the time to take these images. Your machine looks great!

Thx for Pinball.center mention, I bought sling and dummy plastics from them. Waiting on Dummy to arrive. I couldn't understand why the dummy plastic had no support at the front, and it wasn't until I noticed on other pictures, that there were two tabs at the front missing on mine. It looks like you updated yours?

I have no pop bumper lights I must have a slightly later version. I think 8000 were made, and there is a sticker inside saying 2000. I believe later ones didn't have the lamps installed.

Your lighting looks great, my GI is a little too dim I thin. I went frosted and colour matched for plastic, but I think it needs to be non-frosted and intense (either white or colour) as I am finding it tough to see the ball if lights are out in the room! The Ferris Wheel ought to have its own spot light I think.

Thanks again for the pictures, really really appreciate it.

I need to replace my Ferris wheel motor...

Do you know what exactly need to be removed from the playfield to remove the Ferris wheel assembly? Your Machine looks great. Thanks for any tips...
