Hello, I recently picked up a Hurricane and the Ferris wheels aren’t working. All the connectors look good. The Ferris wheel opto is working. I also tried in solenoid test mode and they don’t work in that either. The rubber connecting the Ferris wheels and motor looks brand new as well. Any idea where to go from here? Thank you!!

I don't have specifics in front of me but a few things to check:

Do the Ferris wheels spin when you try and move them with the game off? If so, the rubber is too loose.
There is an adjustment plate on the mech itself that allows for higher tensioning of the belt. Loosen the two screws, adjust the plate, and retighten.
Also clean the belt as you do this with naphtha. It might just have a lot of coil dust in it.

If the belt is warped or super dirty, just get another one.

The Ferris wheels do not move with the game off. The rubber looks brand new and clean. The guy I bought it from said it was working perfect when he shipped it. I’ve got to imagine it’s something simple. However, I’ve checked alignment, connectors, fuses and the optos. I don’t have a clue what cold be wrong. Any advice out there? Thank you.
