I saw a HUO TSPP on pinball bash for $3600. Thought price sounded good, wanted to alert everyone. It is on my list but not right now.

Same for me

#3 12 years ago

It's a great price no doubt. My HUO TSPP was a little more.

#5 12 years ago

It is under their Chopping Block sub forum. Can't miss it.

#6 12 years ago

Apparently I can, and now I've used up my 10 views per day for a guest user. Where is it located?

#7 12 years ago

Chesapeake Va 23320

Ah, right down the street! I saw that one somewhere else recently for $4000. It mentioned being HUO but there was flipper button wear. Seemed strange. If someone had it in their home the whole time they must have played the $hit out of it!

Thanks... this merits further research.

If you look out your window, you might be able to see it!

Yeah, that is a good price. I paid $2,800 for a routed one and put maybe $200 into it (and a slew of hours). There is extreme wear at my flipper buttons. All is in order though. I would have paid $3,600 for a nice HUO instead, but this is in the past.

Buy with confidence, Jamies a great guy and an honest seller.

I have a LOTR and i play it almost every day since i got it back from my x in the divorce. And when it was at my old house it was not only used by me but my x played also. So you can say yes I play the crap out of it and some people would not guess it was a HUO machine. Not to mention when my x packed it up she did not handle with care...shame on her.

+1 thats a great price

I am curious if it is easy to tell what year (or "run") this one in Vegas is from. I seem to remember something about a couch upgraded weldment and possibly different side rails? Oh wise one(s), teach me how to tell the difference.

Well I brought it home. Rommy, I owe you a 12er of Yuengling if I ever get down that way. For those wanting to buy a TSPP, I tend to get rid of stuff I don't like within a few months, so ya never know.

#16 12 years ago

Congrats Fishin! Hopefully you love your TSPP and it stays in your collection a long time.

#17 12 years ago

If, not I do drive to the midwest from time to time!

#18 12 years ago

Fishin, I hope you hate that machine then let me know! I live in central illinois and will gladly take it off your hands if its truly HUO.

#19 12 years ago

No one bought the one on eBay
. How much is shipping like $350?

Sorry, I like it a lot so far. Just finished LEDing it and installing the Duff Beer and Kang and Kodos mods!

#21 12 years ago

Doubt you could not like it

Congrats on your new pin

#22 12 years ago

I will be ready for one come Nov/Dec. Hopefully you will be good and tired of it : )

Swagger! Das besta! Grats on TSPP. Man you went to work on it fast. I deserve a pic with the new mods and LEDs...

#24 12 years ago

I gotta get everything in tip top shape for the pin party I'm having on the 31st! As of this morning a Dr. Who wobble head kit is on its way too!

I'll get my girlfriend to take some updated pics of the game room the next time she is over. She has a much nicer camera than I do. My crappy walmart special doesn't take very good pin pics.

Nice! Killer mod, looks impressive. Not too busy and really differentiates.

#27 12 years ago

Actually I got the idea (and pin and parts) from Jaime, who got the idea from you. It does look good. I like the green flasher cap you used too. I put a green LED in there and green LEDs in the nuke towers. It looks, uh, very radioactive!

Cool idea I might try a LED in my flasher. I have the multicolor LED in the towers

Here's the Kang and Kodos mod on mine. I want to put super brights in the nuke towers eventually. I just threw in the only green LEDs I could find.

Maybe I'm missing something, how are Kang and Kodos attached?

Those that have LED'd, have you just done the inserts? What type of LED's did you use? Do you think it looks a lot better (worth it)?

I've been kicking around adding LED's for a while, I'm just not sure it's a game that would really benefit from the addition.

#34 12 years ago

I used a wire from a coat hanger to attach them.

I used the Cointaker superbright non-ghosting kit for the inserts and flashers and I did not LED any GI or the backbox. There were a couple of inserts on the upper playfield that did not look right with LEDs, so I left the incandescents in. Yes, I think it looks a lot better.
