Even though I basically hate the game, that's a *tremendous* value price for that machine in that condition. I'd honestly buy it without hesitation were it local. Super bonus points for the nice white rubber.

Quoted from swampfire:

If Nascar was a system 11, it would be up there with Funhouse and Whirlwind. I love mine.

Okay...no more alcohol for you...or hard drugs.

Didn't you once say that AFM sucked? Talk about impaired thinking...

A *heck* of a lot more than "once"...

Very tempting...

You should...you're close enough, and for the price he's asking, you're not going to lose on the deal. Were that in my back yard, I'd own it, and I basically despise the game.

Quoted from MustangPaul:

Well then why in the world would you own it then. It makes no sense.

Sure it does, for a couple of reasons.

1. Buying at basically no loss (with no work involved) is always welcome. If I can get something for a while at no charge, why wouldn't I? More than likely, I'll be able to sell it for more than I bought it for, anyway. I don't care for the game, but that doesn't mean I shouldn't ever get practice on it, right?

2. I do buy games I don't like for great prices, which is to say: as much as I might hate any given pin, if the price is right, I'm buying. The last pin I bought (a couple years ago) was a very nice Roller Coaster Tycoon, which I despise. For under $1000, though? I can deal with it. Heck, for *any* modern Stern, if it's sub-$1K, I'm in like Flynn. Yes: even for dogs like Striker Xtreme.

In this case, though, the guy's asking for $2K for not just a HUO pin, but one that *looks* like it's been cared for in every step of the journey. I'd snatch it up and play it, and then when I was done (and I rarely am, admittedly...) use it to get something I really, actually want. Throwing out an "I've got a HUO XXXXXX..." never hurts when you're looking to upgrade to something else.

Game is tentatively sold pending pickup. Thanks for all of the interest!

Hope it works out for you. You certainly weren't asking too much for it!
