Made a video of my HUO CV. Still have a lot to learn about video editing and adding music, but thought I'd share:

Yep.

Came from this dude:

This pin might be for sale soon. Someone else has first dibs at it though.

Beautiful. Thanks for sharing.

I've thought about making some trades to a nice CV again. Unique game.

Wow that has very little insert ghosting, almost never see that on a CV HUO or not.

#13 6 years ago

I've always loved this game, think its Jpops best. Nice job on the video Rob.

Very nice Rob....what kind of LED's do you have in the back box? They are sweet.

That's the LED backbox kit specific to CV made by Cointaker. It changes colors. Gives a nice 3D effect too.

beeeeutiful

That is a stunner what a machine you got there! Thanks for sharing the video with us.

Ya gotta love when you see a true HUO game, Rob.

While I don't care for CV, I do like your taste in music.

Ha! Thanks for that, as the music that I used for the video is one thing that I really wasn't sure that others would care for. Of course you are the first one to comment on it, so I'm not sure what that means in terms of whether others cared for it or not.

Cool...thanks for the info

Nice addition RobT.

Finally someone showed me a nicer HUO CV than mine.

That is pretty; only flaws I noticed were ghosting on diamond RM inserts. Otherwise close to a perfect example.

Congrats.

#25 6 years ago

Thanks for all the comments.

This is something that I want to start doing with all my pins. It just seems like a great way to document the condition of the pin, and it livens it up a bit over still photos.

This pin has now been sold.

#26 6 years ago

Whew! That was a close one. Congrats to the buyer and the seller!

#27 6 years ago

I have seen and played this in the flesh!

It looks brand spankin new.

Crap. Sold mine years ago. Bad move.

#29 6 years ago

Seeing underneath was an eye opener. So used to B/W machines being an absolute mess under there after being on route that I forget they must have looked great when they came out of the factory.

Thanks for posting.

HUO? meh. Single-owner huo (SOHUO) is where it's at!

What an amazing example.

Awesome pin porn. Super clean. Looks like it has never been played. How many game have you played on it?

#33 5 years ago

Rob since this thread got bumped up can you speak to the last ability that CV has for you? I have only played CV a handful of times and would love to own one someday but am curious if its a keeper and would be ok in a small (5pin) collection?

The way you go through pins? Not a chance.

I have a 5 pin collection as well. I liked CV while I had it, but no one else in the family or any of my friends did. It didn't get much love at all, and it wasn't a grail machine for me, so it left after about a year.

CV didn't last long in my house. Really beautiful game and relatively fun but the ringmaster took too long and I hated the juggler thing. Some real innovative stuff but shit just took too long to happen on the playfield.

#37 5 years ago

CV only lasted about 2 months in my collection and I would say it my least favorite JPOP game of the trio of TOM and TOTAN.

#38 5 years ago

I prefer WCS to CV. Nowhere near as deep, but more fun IMHO.

That stings Jayhawk ;p
I will admit to having a mild case of Coasterguy syndrome

Ps. I have found 2 keepers my Keller restored MM (insanely nice game) and my STLE are not going anywhere and I will go on record and say if I put either up for sale here that you guys should do a pintervention on me.

If you go through games quick, I don't see CV lasting all that long in your collection. I tend to keep games and I didn't keep mine very long. The only game I wanted to move out faster was TOM. CV is a beautiful looking game, and certainly fun. But for me it isn't a keeper. But you should at least own one once.
