I can't believe such a historically significant pinball machine does not have it's own club - until NOW. Next year will be the 75th anniversary of this machine which means the anniversary of flippers.
I have two HDs that I am just beginning to restore after having them sit in my basement for the past several years. Neither was working at the time I purchased them. I guess I will chronicle my restoration process, but I have so many questions and would love others opinions. For instance, should I repaint the cabinets or just clean them up? Or paint one and leave the other original? One playfield is in worse condition than the other. Should I print (vinyl or water slide decals) and restore the playfield or just leave all the wear? Let me hear from you if you own or are interested in Humpty Dumpty.
