I’ve got a pretty loud hum coming out of the left speaker when I push on the board near the plug the sound lessens a bit, so I suspected maybe a cold solder joint but when I pulled the board I noticed one of the screws to the heat sink on the amp chips was coming off. I was wondering if the hum could be related to that screw coming loose from not getting a good bond between the thermal paste? (see pics) If that’s not the issue, what else should I be looking for to replace on the board that could cause a hum and have it dissipate when pushing on the board? From my experience CSJ usually cause the sound to fail completely or once the game heats up. I’m not a sound board repair expert, so I wanted to get some advice before ordering a new board if once can even be found? I was also thinking the amp chip might be going out? Just need some hand holding on this... thanks in advance.

Cap filtering DC failing ?

Maybe try a RF choke thing on the wiring ?

These clip on chokes is what I’m gonna try. What do you think?

Turned out to be a bad capacitor. The large 50v 1000uF at C58.
