Bammo!! Finally arrived but wow is worth it!! Looks amazing, sounds and call outs rock and the game play is unique, challenging and tons of fun!! This is truly a home run.

One question for Avengers owners. When launching the ball to play, mine won't send the ball up top it only goes a short way in to the lock. The auto plunger does shoot the ball all the way up. Normal??

Thanks

Your plunger shoulf send the ball all the way up. Not too hard, but at least to the top of the drop-throughs. Check to make sure that the plunger is striking the ball as close to the middle of the ball as possible. If it is hitting to one side or the other, give the entire shooter rod a tug in the other direction. I have seen that happen.

It's raining hulks tonight! Congrats!

#4 11 years ago

Very nice! Is there anything (such as cliffy's) you would recommend adding to the machine before too many plays?

#5 11 years ago

Congrats! It looks great! And having such a low number in the production is very cool!

#6 11 years ago

Yes it seems the plungers are a little flakey. I am going to mess with it tonight. I want to upgrade it anyway. Talking with Alexlevy about it right now actually.
Stoked for you that Hulk arrived. I find fun in seeing us get them. Cool to share. It is such a cool game.

#7 11 years ago

I just posted about the same issue a few minutes ago #83

#8 11 years ago

Congrats, finally!
Now show us some pics of MB as well

#89 Hulk

I love mine as well and it has the same issue with the plunger.

#10 11 years ago

See where the shooter rod tip is when the ball is resting in the shooter lane (coin door open or coil will fire). Should be either barely touching or a very small gap. Should also be centered or slightly high on the ball.

Auto-plunger is completely different mech than manual plunger. They have to work in close proximity, but totally different.

#11 11 years ago

A buddy of mine got his LE last week , the small spring on the ( Spring - barrel ball shooter outer ) of the shooter rod is to Big and Won't let the Shooter Tip fully Plunge the ball. I told him to get some wire cutters and clip a small section off .. Just a Thought , i haven't heard if that solved the problem yet ..

Anyway Congrat's on yr New Pin Hwawonyu ,, Biglaw just called , he got his 2-day and said it plays Fast like SM .. lOOk's like I missed out on this 1 ..

a .49 cent's Spring ,, http://www.marcospecialties.com/pinball-parts/10-149

Not too late.

I would suggest checking to see if the manual plunger tip is touching the ball when the ball is resting in the shooter lane (coin door open or coil will fire). It shouldn't touch. If it does, either push it on farther, or get a longer outside (small) shooter rod spring.

ok cool. I will

You were the tipping point. I was on the fence before your glowing reviews

#16 11 years ago

I get that. I was worried I would sway people into something they may not want. I do believe it is an awesome game. More so then some of my past NIB experiences. It seems to have it from the start.

#17 11 years ago

So how much was this NIB there??

#18 11 years ago

I actually misread the original post. I thought his problem was with the auto-plunger. I edited my post above. The advice above is for a poor manual plunge.

#19 11 years ago

I understand. The manual plunge is a bit flakey but not always. I think my X-men was like that to though and it sorta broke itself in. Maybe it was my Tron Pro..... hmmmm

Its all good even if a turd, I would just have to come find ya and bring a bunch of weapons of mass destruction

#21 11 years ago

I think the problem is the plunger may have gotten moved out of the center of the shooter lane. If the plunger rubber is not at the center of the ball it can cause the ball to go flying off the sides, or if it is lower than the center of the ball it can/will cause the ball to propel upwards. I have had a couple instances where someone was rough with the shooter knob and shifted the shooter out of position a little.
There are a couple screws and bolts that hold the shooter to the cabinet. Loosen those and shift the shooter housing into the proper position and re-tighten firmly.

My wife is making me eat. Otherwise I would be downstairs.

#31 11 years ago

Congrats on your HULK!!!!!

#32 11 years ago

The shooter is too far back. Trying to rip off the outside spring so it will go forward more. Drunk tech work while bantam style dancing with kids is dangerous

#33 11 years ago

Thanks!!! You made it possible. Seriously having your 5 and 7 year old know the game as its wheeled in and the be excited to play it makes it that much better.

Herg, great game and again thanks for parting with it. Plus huge thanks for taking New Years Eve to bring it over and set it up. Lastly lets admit it. TFLE was fun to play : )

Happy New Year!

#36 11 years ago

DCFAN,

#37 11 years ago

No problem. Now I just have to fill that gaping hole in the gameroom.

Yes, TF is a better game than its reputation. That one particular game was a blast.

#38 11 years ago

Monster Bash and Hulk to close out the year. Very nice indeed. I don't see my Spider-Man in those pictures

#39 11 years ago

In the corner ; )

Happy New Year!

#40 11 years ago

Sweet line up dude. Is the new backbox that much bigger or is it the photo playing tricks on me? Too much Gomez in there.

#41 11 years ago

NIce price.

#47 11 years ago

Thanks! I got a deal on some as Hulks seem more popular and just trying to pass a deal forward. I was thinking of you as I made the mistake of selling a Tron LE, hated seeing the two side by side Pro and LE as it only made me regret selling the LE. I thought I could get away with the look and feel of the Tron Pro vs the LE especially for the price difference. NAVL was late getting here to pick up so it stayed even longer making it even tougher, finally had to move the LE to a different area of the bldg and was now over it after getting shaker to work as good in the Pro and LE. Only playing the Pro and not seeing or playing the other version I was finally ok with my decision, then out of the blue made the trade with Greg to get one back. I hate that feeling of being undecided and it just made me think of some of your post.
I have not meet you in person but I did buy your old Tommy you kindly dropped off at GAP's and I have seen your old Tron Pro at Chad's in NC. Reading your post here now I feel like I had a "Coasterguy" moment of my own and wanted to share. Happy New Year!

$6700 without shipping ?

Usually shipping is $200-$250+, so $6900-$7k shipped...
