Hello to all

The pre-order list for HS2 Getaway repro playfield is now open.
If you wish to purchase a HS2 playfield then please send me an email
to [email protected]
The quality will be the same as the BoP playfields we just run.

This is a sign that it's time for me to step up to my first playfield swap!

#3 6 years ago

#4 6 years ago

Here are the first pics of the print.
The playfields dont have clear coat yet.
Have a nice day.

Will these be based off the clear insert version or cloudy?
Thanks

#7 6 years ago

They will be based on the clear version.
Like you see them now on the pictures, just shiny

#8 6 years ago

Looks beautiful... If I knew this was coming I should never have sold mine

Do it. Seriously, the only thing keeping your game from being a museum piece is the playfield. You could probably pay someone local in beer and steaks to swap for you.

#18 6 years ago

Ugh, so nice!!

#20 6 years ago

This is one I have been waiting for.

Mine is really bad around all of the inserts. No real wear just missing all the border paint and its downt to wood.

Mine has lifted inserts in the "white" RPM area which, in turn, cause paint wear around the edges. I heated and pushed them down as best I could but they're not flush.

Awesome. Looks good, but unfortunately the value of the Canadian dollar means I will have to pass.

#24 6 years ago

Planned on touching up my nice original and clearing it....tough decision now

Mine would be an excellent candidate for that, but I have zero skills in art work. Might as well let someone else do it for my situation haha.

Shading in the pop bumpers/red car area....is it a flat gradient or is it halftoned and just hard to see in the pic?

#27 6 years ago

The shading is halftoned with the dotted raster.

#28 6 years ago

Make sure you don't use satin clear !

Lordloss was kind enough to let me know about these being remade when I put my NOS HSII playfield up for sale. I was unaware. So, if anyone is interested in an NOS one, I'll sell it for $900 shipped in the USA. Thanks Lordloss for the heads up!

Damn, missed this. Any chance of more runs??

#33 6 years ago

Dang it. I've been waiting several years for him to make these and I don't see the thread on pinside and they sell out in less than a week.

#34 6 years ago

Is Planetary getting a number of these out of this batch?

2 months later
#35 6 years ago

I received mine today. I only had a chance to take a quick look at it, but my initial reaction is that it looks amazing. It'll be some time before I strip my old one and start building up this one though so I can't comment on alignment or fitment. Due to my inexperience, I'm also quietly hoping someone else documents their playfield swap so that if there are any issues I will know beforehand

#36 6 years ago

I have 6 board left over. Many email addresse dont work. After 1 month not abale to contact the people I decide
to now give them free. If anyone needs a HS2 playfield, they are ready for shipping.

HS2 Playfield 700 Euro / if it remains in Europe you will be charged with extra 19% VAT

I received mine last week. I was amazed at how nice it looks. Thanks Peter for such a great job. Just like the initial pictures in the post. Not sure I will do the playfield swap myself or try to find someone to do it. I have never done a swap. This is my sons favorite game so had to get one.

Huh? I've been on the pre-order list for months and have not been contacted lately (my email address is still the same). Glad I saw this thread...I just replied to you via our original email exchange. I'll also send you a PM to let you know I still want one.
