Hey folks, my right flipper stays stuck up after it is flipped on my HS2. It will go down if a ball hits it. When game is over it will not reset back in down position. Under playfield the shaft that goes into the coil goes in smoothly up to a point, then scapes and gets stuck inside the coil. Anytips or ideas would be appreciated. Is my first rebuild coming!?

Let me know if I did not describe something correctly. I am learning slow and steady, but having fun along the way. Thanks

Flippers are pretty basic.

If the sleeve in the playfield is smooth and the flipper moves smooth then it may be the sleeve in the coil. These can crack and break. Or something happened to the coil.

There is also a spring on the flipper to bring it back to home position.

Check all 3 in order.

Look at the pawl that hits the EOS, if it's sticking on the EOS blades, time for a new plunger assembly, coil sleeve, and coil stop.

Plunger assembly looks worn and has some pitting and gets rough going into the coil sleeve. Time for a new plunger assembly and coil sleeve. Anything else I should look at before I order new ones? Thanks for your help.

Thanks LTG. .

Get a complete rebuild kit. There is nothing like freshly rebuilt flippers...well, except for nice knockers.
