I personally prefer The Getaway, but I have enormous respect for High Speed. Nothing was quite like it at the time, and it was the first game to really make the player feel like they were part of a story. I still have a blast playing it today.
The biggest problem with getaway, it seems, is the buggy software. Seems like every revision has some type of issue, though thankfully, none are truly game breaking.
