They are never too young for pinball.

I love her commentary! My 6 year olds get excited as well when playing.

My boy is five and has been playing since three. Getting really good actually. If I get something new working in the garage he can’t get his shoes on fast enough to go out and play test it for me.

My boy loves getting to multiball. He always peeks into the trough and counts how many balls are down there. He really likes our rollergames because his progress in multiball stays from game to game

My five year old like to play , both alone and with me. He usually tell our guests what the different pin rules are.

My son has been playing since he was five. Really took to it quickly. We like to play together and he's even walked on to league night and done quite well. We play together and have our own game where you get control of the ball on plunge and then once cradled the other person calls the shot you need to make. It's a fun challenge and it's teaching him more control than worrying about the points. He's 8 now and we played in a local tournament a few weeks back. He came in 8th out of 35 or so and won a Ghostbusters Translite. I came in 11th and got nothing lol. He really wanted that first place trophy I'm sure he'll get bored of it one day but right now it's a fun father son activity and has been for a few years.

This is a particularly brutal monster bash at a local brewery near us.

My son started playing at 2 and now is 9 and is damn good. Those young kid reflexes are amazing. Sure they will mash flippers when they start - even tho it drives us nuts there’s no harm to the machine. My son got past that a long time ago and is now mastering advanced techniques like flipper passes.

We play a lot of “team” games too. Where I get one flipper he gets the other. The other day we got on my leader board on whirlwind together at like 30m. Kinda surprised because I couldn’t nudge or anything.

I think we should let them be toddlers first and get out of diapers, after that let the fun begin!

4 year old George played against me on Jurassic Park during the Space City Pinball Tournament.

Start them young. They will be the future of pinball.

One of my girls is starting to enjoy pinball. She's eight. I took her to a tournament where she finished 2 for 2 in her matches. Unfortunately, we were eventually paired up. I decided that I was going to try my best while also rooting her on. I ended up knocking her out of the tournament.

The other option is to hand over the iPad or smartphone to distract them.

Wonderful Video! Adorable!

I started my kids at 2, but now my 7 month old granddaughter will be here next week and get "exposed". She loves dinosaurs, yells like a raptor, so Ill turn down the volume, and let her see Jurassic Park! Ill Post a pic next week.

Of all my grandchildren, Ashton 5 years old, is the only young grandchild who does not whack the flippers. I am showing her how to aim and shot for a certain target or light. She got it!! I will be seeing her this weekend where we will play some pinball!!! She loves it!!!

My son started at 2, he has been better than me since he was 14. He loves pinball. I started his older brother at 3. He never plays. So I would say 2.

If you don't believe the above, then you are more worried about any kid scratching your game(s) than them getting hooked and enjoying what pinball has to offer.

At 4, my son could smoke almost anyone on Funhouse and Power Play. Seriously.

He would laugh at non-pinball players and say ”Don’t they know not to hit the flippers at the same time”

I don't care how young or old people are, cigarettes are not allowed anywhere near my games.
