I would have to ask, what are you looking for in a game? Theme? Flow? Long game times? Deep rules? Fast? Or more stop and go?
I'm also shopping for my first NIB game and I'm looking for a machine that I think is fun and I go back to again and again. Out of the ones I've play, here is my current ordering:
1. KISS
2. Star Trek
3. Metallica
4. Ghostbusters
5. GOT
6. TWD
I'm not sure why the hate on KISS. I'm NOT a fan of KISS as a band but the game rocks and the pin looks great. The rules are fairly deep with the latest code drop. I think people are upset because clearly the cities are not implemented yet. However, there is still reasonable depth. This game will only get better with the final code releases. Between 2 arcades within driving distance, I've play my top four quite a bit. After hours of play, I always gravitate back to KISS and Star Trek. Lots of satisfying shots. Metallica gets a lot of love (and quarters) from me as well.
Ghostbusters is okay but I strongly dislike linear modes and short ball times. Plus, I'm concerned with the playfield issues. I just never connected with GOT or TWD.
