I love these type of games. Oh, and LIONMAN!!!!

Oh, I don't remember a spinner in Centaur. I think you are looking at Space Invaders (similar color scheme)

    #16 7 years ago

I have been working on my list. Here so far

Tron, Surf Champ, Family Guy, ?24?, Twister, ?
Elvis, Elektra,Medusa, ? Bally Kiss, Skateball
POTO, ? Silverball Mania, Superman, Firepower II, Flash
Space Riders, Middle Earth, Genie, Space Shuttle, AC\DC, Swords of Fury
Atlantis, Black Knight, Dracula, Embryon, ?, ? I don't think it is FT
Flash Gordon, ? , Mystic, Robocop, Space Invaders, ToM

    #18 7 years ago
    Quoted from ForceFlow:

Missing one on the top row...IJ, maybe?
The missing one on the bottom row is Gorgar.

IJ or IJ4? I don't think IJ has a spinner.

And everyone thinks Row 5, column 6 is Fish Tales. While it might be because it does look like the Monster Fish shot. I always thought it was just a silver / prism spinner.

Row 3 column 2 bugs me because it is familiar.

    Quoted from Otaku:

I was gonna say Tron right away for the first one in my first post and I was sure, but when I went to check it had the face of the lady (sorry never watched the movie) on it so I didn't list it. Are the LE spinners different or something, or is he on the back of the spinner?

The woman, Quorra, is on the right side of the left ramp. The guy, who cares, is a spinner on the right orbit shot,

    Quoted from CaptainNeo:

4 of those games I own.
I'm displeased that you didn't include any zaccaria spinners in the group.

It's Williams World Cup from 78. Got Blackout. I was wondering why that was familiar. Different Spinner from SoF than used before.

    (updating previous post)

    #91 7 years ago
    Quoted from CaptainNeo:

nobody is going to get row 4 column 4 except me. Since i'm the one that made that spinner.
Nice to see LIONMAN made it into both rounds.

Checking in to see the progress. The non-production girl on a Geiger game is not cool to me. I like to think about the shape, style, detail... to give an educated chance of getting it. I was having fun but if another "too obscure" one pops up I might bail because I love these types of game when done right. We used to do them all the time (10 years ago) from small backglass detail pictures.

    Current found -

Viking,LW3,SoF, ?, Last Action Hero, Grand Slam
    ? ,Evel Knievel,Outer Space,Apollo 13, ?, Airborne
    Speakeasy,Big Game,Blue Chip, Spy Hunter,TFTC,Amazing Spiderman
Dragon,HRC,World Cup, Many, Miss World, Space Mission
    300,Airborn Avengers, ? , ? , Hulk, Blackout
Close Encounters, Jungle, ?, IM, Hot Wheels, Paragon

    Last 4 Missing (updated)
    (1,4) Dragon
    (2,1) TNT - Nugent Found
(2,5) Flaming Ball thing I know I have seen
(5,3) face - Af Tor found
    (5,4) Monkey
    (6,3) Sombraro

I have time for a couple of beers and I'm trying to decide what one to look for.

    #93 7 years ago
    Quoted from RoyGBev:

Bottom right is used on Lost World and Paragon IIRC.

I think you are right. And it would make sense being the same company in the same time period.

    #95 7 years ago
    Quoted from dothedoo:

    Nugent
    Af-Tor

Nice, Nugent should have been picked up quicker. But Wico Af-Tor is out there. I've never actually seen one.

Viking,LW3,SoF, ?, Last Action Hero, Grand Slam
Nugent , Evel Knievel, Outer Space, Apollo 13, ? ,Airborne
Speakeasy, Big Game, Blue Chip, Spy Hunter, TFTC, Amazing Spiderman
Dragon, HRC, World Cup, Many, Miss World, Space Mission
    300,Airborn Avengers, Af-Tor, ? , Hulk, Blackout
Close Encounters, Jungle, ? , IM, Hot Wheels, Paragon / Lost World

    #97 7 years ago
    Quoted from Scottamus:

Af-Tor is 5,3 not 1,4. I'm blanking on 2,5 - and I took the picture! Also struggling on 6,3 - can't seem to confirm what I thought it was.

    Saw, fixed and still confused

I'm pretty sure I have seen (2,5) (i just hope I don't own it and forgot)

    #99 7 years ago
    Quoted from CaptainNeo:

In all fairness to the poster. I don't think he knew that spinner was customized. As there are only 5 of that game in existence to begin with. Would be hard for someone to realize it's not original. As the original is a kiss spinner which doesn't make any sense. I made it so the girl animates and gives pelvic thrusts during the spin.

    But it's the pelvic thrust.
    They really drive you insane.
Let's do the Time Warp again.
Let's do the Time Warp again.

I figured he might have something to do with repro'ing these things. His pictures are so straight on they are not copy / crop pics from IPDB or anything. I've seen some of these for decades and have never seen them that close. Usually just making sure it does a spin and trigger correctly.

    #101 7 years ago

I did miss that, sorry. I probably thought it was talking about the common diamond shape used on a few. (Adding Liberty Bell with Space Mission)

    Oh, Tommy at (2,5)

Viking, LW3, SoF, ?, Last Action Hero, Grand Slam
Nugent , Evel Knievel, Outer Space, Apollo 13, Tommy ,Airborne
Speakeasy, Big Game, Blue Chip, Spy Hunter, TFTC, Amazing Spiderman
Dragon, HRC, World Cup, Many, Miss World, Space Mission / Liberty Bell
    300,Airborn Avengers, Af-Tor, ? , Hulk, Blackout
Close Encounters, Jungle, ? , IM, Hot Wheels, Paragon / Lost World

    #106 7 years ago

The Monkey is from Zaccaria "Clown"

Viking, LW3, SoF, ?, Last Action Hero, Grand Slam
Nugent , Evel Knievel, Outer Space, Apollo 13, Tommy ,Airborne
Speakeasy, Big Game, Blue Chip, Spy Hunter, TFTC, Amazing Spiderman
Dragon, HRC, World Cup, Many, Miss World, Space Mission / Liberty Bell
300, Airborn Avengers, Af-Tor, Clown , Hulk, Blackout
Close Encounters, Jungle, Amigo , IM, Hot Wheels, Paragon / Lost World

So the Dragon at (1,4) is the last to go.

    #117 7 years ago
    Quoted from Scottamus:

Last unidentified spinner from post 64 is from The Hobbit (the dragon at 1,4).

I guess that explains the strange blue metal bracket.

    1 week later
    #121 7 years ago
    Quoted from ForceFlow:

Flash, Strikes & Spares, Stern Dracula
    ?, Night Rider, ?
    ?

    last one is Skateball
