Sort of on-topic, who made the best spinner?

Old Sterns are pretty good, anyone better than that?

    #103 7 years ago

I took the picture at 6,3 on an Amigo machine. I can't find any other playfield picture with that spinner though. In fact the pics on ipdb show three other spinners, all different. Not sure which one if any is the official Amigo spinner.

The magic one or the spaceship one? Definitely not stock for Amigo, either of them. I think Amigo just used a standard spinner (with reused art, if any) originally.

The sombrero one (bottom row, 3rd from the left) on post 64.

The Monkey is from Zaccaria "Clown"

Viking, LW3, SoF, ?, Last Action Hero, Grand Slam
Nugent , Evel Knievel, Outer Space, Apollo 13, Tommy ,Airborne
Speakeasy, Big Game, Blue Chip, Spy Hunter, TFTC, Amazing Spiderman

300, Airborn Avengers, Af-Tor, Clown , Hulk, Blackout
Close Encounters, Jungle, Amigo , IM, Hot Wheels, Paragon / Lost World

So the Dragon at (1,4) is the last to go.

you notice how he carefully cut out the red plastic spinner towers out of the zaccaria one. Those towers are a dead giveaway. Since they are the only ones that do that method.

Last unidentified spinner from post 64 is from The Hobbit (the dragon at 1,4).

I guess that explains the strange blue metal bracket.
