Quoted from xTheBlackKnightx:

Playland Arcade (State College, PA)
The Pennsylvania State University - University Park Main Campus
1970s, less than decade after opening in 1968.
Closed in 2003.
Operated for 35+ years by my first pinball manager and boss, Gene Steele.

Thanks xTheBlackKnightx for all the great pics of Playland from back in the 70s. Believe it or not, I actually looked closely at the people to see if I might have been in one of the photos.

I had forgotten about the free pizza days, as shown in frame 8. I recall Playland used to have a couple sheets of pizza delivered on Thursdays (probably from Highway pizza) for the customers enjoyment.

I recall there used to be an employee named Jack, who was an older man that usually sat at the change counter and could often be heard to loudly bellow: "quit beating on the machines".

Great stuff. Attached are a couple more pics of Playland from 1977. Sorry for the low Q, but they photos of photos.

Those pics were from May 1977 and the digital games had just started showing up, at Playland anyway.
Can't believe I cut off the backglass of the Jacks Open on the end. That is one my favorite EMs.
