I’ve got a seasoned WOZ dude here, but no luck updating to 6.06 just yet. We’ve tried:
- a couple different manufacturers’ USBs, and not Sandisk
- reformatted the USBs prior to using Unebootin to make the .iso into a bootable USB
- plugged directly into the motherboard

Did 1.08 have a different update method?

Ok, I’m gonna stop smoking cigarettes. I go outside to post and our guy got it going. You beat me to posting our answer, LTG, but it took a bit more.

It wasn’t recognizing the USB. So, we, err, he:
- plugged in a keyboard
- pulled CMOS battery, plugged it back in
- held delete key as we booted up the game
- I missed a step
- update began

I think he chose the USB as the bootable source from a menu when I missed the step.

Annnnnnnnnd... now we’re ordering the full 2.0 kit. Light board appears to be out, the 7 is max brightness.

So I hear, I’m outside again.
