    Quoted from Kneissl:

Shows up with two door sports car and mini maglite.

that's the type of guy that is looking to buy.

When someone asks me what my lowest or “best” price is I respond with what’s your highest or “best” offer.

When asked "would you take X" I always respond with "is that an offer or just a question?". If just a question the answer is NO.

I don't like it when people do that. I don't want to negotiate against myself, lol.

If someone makes an offer, I will certainly consider it, but it just seems strange when someone wants me to make an offer to myself on their behalf.

My go to response is always " That's a solid down payment, you can pay the balance on pick up." I usually get a laugh which helps move things along.

I may say "there is some room" or " i am firm on that price" depending on what it is i am selling.
I do not like a "previewing" offer . But IF you can get me to commit to it, the haggling is done. show up with the money and it is yours. I will demonstrate that it is everything i said it was but DO NOT start to renegotiate. If you made a blind offer, and i accepted it, further haggling is out of the question.

Hey, I have the price on the windshield or in the add. That's my lowest price---until YOU make an offer that I can either accept or reject. If you ask me what my lowest price is I will just reference the price I put on the glass. And you can walk.

I want $2500.00 for it. You don't want to pay the asking price? I'll flex. What will you give?
