If someone is willing to give you their old clock boards, I would grab them if you aren't going to buy new boards. Their old ones may be in better condition than yours.

Looking at your boards......

If it's the 45 minute opto that is acting up, I would use a meter and check the continuity on all the traces. Maybe one of the traces needs to be repaired.

If those are good, I would plug the board back in, and use a mobile phone camera to look closely at the minute optos. If you see them glow on the screen, at least you know the emitter is working. If you see nothing, you know it's most likely the opto. Note, the receiver may still be bad and can only be tested with the game in Clock Test Mode.

The optos used on this board are hard to find. When you do find them, they are really expensive.

The resistors look bad, but I think they will work. Basically, whoever "repaired" the board didn't buy the correct wattage, and used two lower wattage resistors in their place.

Long term if you get your boards working, remove those lamps and install LEDs. They are what has caused all that damage. Good luck.
