    For dealing with small areas and a with a strategy for dealing with barrel distortion you could get by but it won't work for a whole pf. Nothing will line up.

    Large format professional scanner is the only way to go.

    As others have said, stitching from a consumer scanner is too inaccurate or very heavy on manual correction. I've manually stitched a few playfield art packages together that I've been happy with but auto stitch has never proven perfect.
