    I just did the same to my JM cabinet with a $60 Dewalt random orbital and 80 grit. Stripped the whole cab in less than an hour, but made a big mess. I did it outside with a dust respirator on, so the mess wasn't a problem for me.

    So you don't need a Festool to do this quickly.

    Large chunks missing = bondo
