    I use Q-tip BRAND shafts, shove in the hole, break back, and screw in.
    If still not quite tight enough, back out screw and put another piece in.
    If more than 2 are needed, another method might be better, but I have fixed tons of route machines w this method, and the screws hold great, can be tightened to a good torque, and it lasts, even on route.,even on flipper assemblies.

    The white paper/cardboard type.
    I never thought it would give such good results, and no drying time.
