Thanks Whysnow
I tried to remove them again. This time I tried taking one tooth out and then twist them and it actually worked.
But it is an inconvenient system though. I broke one flashercap because of the high pressure on those caps.
By the way, to remove the ramp you'll have to take out the Warrior Bug as well.
Isn't that convenient?
Currently I am cleaning every corner of the game at the moment and I have to say, regardless of the ramp and Warrior removal, that the game in general is pretty easy to disassemble. Yes, they've done the GI lamps a lot better on their later games and of course it isn't worth removing the whole ramp and Warrior, just to replace some return lane lights but, take a look at it like this: at least it is possible.
I had to take care of the Brain Bug as well. Somehow it flew of its mounting bracket. I still can't figure out, how that was possible.
The later games of Sega, so the Stern games, are a lot easier to service.
But not all of them are as good as Starship Troopers. I really love the game.
In my opinion it is one of the most underrated games.
Thanks to everyone participating in this thread.
Now I know how to remove those caps correctly.
