I want to realize an multiball function on my homemade pinball in the future. What is the easiest method to do that. Im thinking about 3 ball multiball. As it is my first homebrew project a simple 2 or 3 ball method would make me happy

Good luck with your project! Homebrew pins are a ridiculous amount of work. I think the simplest way would be to have a target on the playfield that just automatically shoots additional balls into play. I think #balls-a-poppin was the first game with multiball, and it has a saucer that triggers the mode when a ball settles into it.

Alternatively, you could do something like Pinbox 3000's Swamp Quest kit, which has an entirely physical three-ball multiball trigger built into one of the ramps.

Thank you very much. this Swamp quest multiball from the ramp is nice. Some great examples.....thanks. Im thinking how to build the ball feeder at the moment. I have one solenoid that kicks the ball to the plunger when it falls down. But I need to have an ball feeder, because every time a ball gets locked for multiball on the playfield I must have a new one to shoot in the game. So I have no solution for now.......but Im working on that. If someone has a simple solution for such a feeder, please let me know

Does your trough support multiple balls? If not you could get one from pinball life. Even without an auto plunger just putting in a kickout hole would allow two ball multiball

If you want to use MPF read this section: http://docs.missionpinball.org/en/latest/game_logic/multiballs/index.html. There is a set of tutorials in the bottom for specific multiballs from different areas of machines.
