    Hi,

I would like to get advices about how to firmly stick new side rails after I replaced the cabinet decals. I tried with a 2 sided adhesive on the side, but after a little while it started to get off the wood at some places.

    Thanks

For a standard WPC siderail? - Genuine 3M double sided foam tape in 3cm width.

Protip - Don't remove the entire backing strip until the siderail is on the machine with the back screw and front bolt for the siderail in for correct alignment.

Peel off 5cm from one end and leave it hanging down, install the siderail with the screw and bolt in then remove the rest of the backing strip by pulling the remainder downwards.

That way the adhesive part of the tape isn't exposed to the air at all and it completely eliminates any potential alignment errors.

Additional tip...put an extra piece of tape on the backside strip (the one you pull) to reinforce it...I had one tear halfway through the process and it was a bitch to get ahold of it again to continue pulling

Check on YouTube, there are how to video's on there. The trick is not to try and pull it back off when it starts to go on wrong, you'll end up putting a kink in the rail and then it wont ever lay right and you'll probably have to start all over again with new rails. Purchase the tape from Pinball life, it's like $3 to do a game.
