I have a set for larger carpet slides that I use to move the games around, the smaller one I have on usually slide, but the big ones slide more easily and I feel like won't damage the carpet and pad as much as smaller ones.

I considered a hydraulic lift, but I didn't feel like modifying a handle, and someone else told me they are prone to oil leaks in the hydraulics, which would damage the carpet signficantly.

    My two cents.
